Hey, I'm special.

When I was a youngin', my family had a red dinner plate that was reserved for special occasions. Said occasions included good grades, birthdays, sport victories and other notable accomplishments.

Well, it's time to break this sucker out once again. I done got me a promotion. Woo hoo!

Hey, we had that same plate growing up! Usually my brother-in-law and I would switch plates on those special days, just to throw my mom off.
Congrats on the promotion, is it now called Crispin, Porter, Babs + Bogusky?

yeah, we had that plate in our household as well. it must have been a mormon thing — maybe it was once of the first momonmercials following general conference in 1979 or something.

We now have that plate in our very own household. Spencer's mom gave it to us about a month ago. Woohoo! I feel special.
