We have no clue what we'll name this lil' tyke. Before we knew the gender of our first child, my wife and I couldn't even come close to agreeing on boy names. Luckily, we had a girl. This time, it looks like we won't be so fortunate. Our only stipulation is that it must be the name of a city. So, if you know any city names that could also be cool boy names, let's hear 'em!

We have until July 16th to find one. Ready? Go!

Haha. Sadly, Boise and Cleveland have been axed, at no help from Hailey's best friend, mind you! :) Jamie, who's side are you on anyway?

Austin is in the mix. Dayton perhaps. It's very early in the game, however, so keep the suggestions coming (unless you're gonna suggest Provo, in which case, shut yer pie hole).

Austin was what we were originally going to name CJ so that's in our bag for the next go around. So naturally, that gets my vote.

This morning at the temple I felt inspiration from Hailey to name him Joshua James.

(I feel I owe that one to Hailey for going with me at 6:45 a.m.)

Joshua, Texas. It's a city name. The wife wins (we all stick together.)

Grosse Pointe? Newark, Roxton, Toco, Sparks? CLOVIS. Strictly New England? How about Argyle, Roxbury, Ipswich, Waldoboro!

These are a little more plausible:
Anson, Turner (ME)
Dryden, Hammond, Milo, Hector, Franklin, (NY)
Hayward, Fremont, Colton, Stockton (CA)
Oakley, Clawson, Leeds (UT)

Oh I could do this all night!

Reno, Fargo, Santaquin, Payson, (San) Diego, (San) Francisco, Gallup, Grants, Waco, Tyler (TX), Dallas, Galveston, Laredo, Brooklyn, Bronx, Staten (so these are boroughs), Newark, Phoenix, Tucson, Columbus (NM), Seattle, Tacoma, Portland, Everett, Oakland...

I think that it is safe to say that you could find a city name of almost anything.....

My B-I-L just named his son Boston. So city names are getting popular. Can I ask why you want a city name? That is an interesting theme.....what is the basis? I am so intrigued. Do they have to be cities that you have been to? I guess not if you are taking requests.

I am not organized to have themes for my kids names. I just pick what ever I am not sick of the day that they give them to us. :-)

--Cheshire
--Joe (Montana)
--Princeton (or be cool like MJ and shorten it to Prince!)
--Stanford. That is a cool (but stuffy) name. He could always be a butler if uni doesn't work out for him.
--Heber!! Historical AND a city (and no Heber jokes, that is where I come from!!) My father in law's name is Heber Raymond. He goes by just Ray (or H. Ray if we are being official). HIS grandfather was named Heber Raymond and he was just a little bit sad that our little Cubby was not named the same. I just could see a black Heber.

Good Luck.
